Kasauli lit fest started by Khushwant Singh 5 yrs ago is to take place on the 14th of October 2016. This was started by khushwant singh in order to bridge the gap between India and Pakistan. This writer had an emotional attachment with pakistan. Like every year this year again invitation has been sent to writers in Pakistan in spite of the tense situation between the two countries. This year invitation has been sent to pakistan writer Fakir Azazudin , Syed abadi husain, Ameena Syed.
